36 Week Baby Bump

How far along: 36 weeks, 2 days 

Size of baby: head of romaine lettuce - 19in, 6lbs

Gender: GIRL!!

Maternity clothes: Yep, or workout clothes...mainly leggings!

Started showing: I'll let you decide this one...

Stretch marks: Nope

Belly button in or out: Out...it's actually becoming flat, haha!

Sleep: Pretty good this week!

Best moment this week: We had an appointment this last Tuesday and had a sonogram to check her size and fluid level. Everything looked great!! According to the sono she weighs about 5lbs 5 oz right now which places her in the 31st percentile, may have another small one like B! Loved seeing this precious girl...before we know it we will be holding her in our arms!!

Movement: Yes, all the time!! She's very low....just feel her all over!!

Cravings: Nothing this week, yep, I'm boring!

Symptoms: Heartburn here and there, braxton hicks throughout the day, occasional PSIS/tailbone pain, lots of pressure!

Looking forward to: Everything is coming together in the nursery, hopefully we can get a few things hung and get it closer to being "finished"!

33 Week Baby Bump

How far along: 33 weeks, 3 days (pic taken at 33.2) 

Size of baby: pineapple - 19in, 4lbs

Gender: GIRL!!

Maternity clothes: Yep, or workout clothes...mainly leggings!

Started showing: For sure! (I feel like maybe I should take this category off!)

Stretch marks: Nope

Belly button in or out: Out...really out!

Sleep: Pretty good this week!

Best moment this week: Brock and I went on a date last night! It was so nice to get out and see a couple movies and have dinner just us two! We didn't get home until 1:30...I know, we're crazy! 

We also had a Dr's appointment  on Thursday and everything is still going good! My uterus is still measuring small, 29 weeks when I'm 33 and it was 28 weeks at my previous appointment when I was 31. Dr. seems to think it's because of her position and isn't too worried. We're scheduled to go back in 2 weeks for our next appointment and we will get a sono then to check her growth and fluid levels. I'm so excited to get to see this munchkin again! Then we start with our weekly appointments...holy cow!

Movement: Yes, all the time!! Still feel most movements low or right at my belly button!

Cravings: Nothing this week, again!

Symptoms: Heartburn here and there, braxton hicks throughout the day, occasional PSIS/tailbone pain

Looking forward to: This week the nesting bug has definitely hit me! I've spent nap times and evenings cleaning and trying to get things in order! We got the carpet in Westyn's room taken out yesterday and I was able to paint the baseboards today. I'm excited to get the new carpet installed Wednesday and start putting her furniture in there and finally see some of it come together!!

32 Week Baby Bump

How far along: 32 weeks 4 days

Belly button in or out: Out...Brock says it knocks things over!

Sleep: Not too bad lately!

Best moment this week: This last week and a half we've had a wonderful time with family celebrating Christmas and New Years! Blakelee was so fun to watch open gifts this year!

Movement: Yes, all the time!! Still feel most movements low or right at my belly button!

Cravings: Nothing specific, kind of boring!

Symptoms: Heartburn here and there, braxton hicks throughout the day, occasional PSIS/tailbone pain

Looking forward to: Getting the nursery stuff together! I've been such a procrastinator with Westyn's room, but, my sister and I painted her room yesterday and now I'm on a roll of being wanting to be productive (hopefully that lasts!) Next on the list is painting the base boards/doors and cleaning out our storage room so we can make it a play room!

31 Week Baby Bump

Stretch marks: Nope

Belly button in or out: Out..like super out this week!

Sleep: Not too bad lately!

Best moment this week: I know I'm like 4 weeks behind but I'll just focus on this last week! Blakelee felt Westyn move for the first time this week, it was hilarious! I was rocking her before her nap and she was lying across my belly. Westyn was moving like crazy but I didn't say anything to B. She started giggling and I asked her what was so funny and she said "Wetyn siddy!" I asked her why she was silly and she started poking her belly, it was so cute!! We also just celebrated Blakelee's 2nd Christmas! It was so fun to watch her open her gifts and love on her new toys! Such joy! Next year will be even more exciting!

We also had a baby check up and everything looks great! I also passed my 1hour glucose test so that's nice!

Movement: Yes, all the time!! Still feel most movements low unless I'm laying down!

Cravings: food in general!

Symptoms: Heartburn here and there, braxton hicks throughout the day, occasional tailbone/PSIS pain.

Looking forward to: Chilling with family the rest of the week and weekend and watching B play with all her new toys!

27 Week Baby Bump

How far along: 27 weeks (woo hoo! Actually on time this week!)

Size of baby: head of cauliflower - 14.5in, albs

Gender: GIRL!!

Maternity clothes: Yep, or workout clothes!

Started showing: For sure! 

Stretch marks: Nope

Belly button in or out: Out..like super out this week!

Sleep: Pretty good as long as I don't keep myself up researching VBACs vs repeat c-sections!

Best moment this week the last 2 weeks: We've had a couple of nice relaxing weekends...soaking in time as a family of 3! We also picked up Westyn's dresser and nightstand...can't wait to put it in her room (once it's painted!)

Movement: Yes, all the time!! Still feel most movements low unless I'm laying down...also felt her have hiccups for the first time last week!

Cravings: food in general!

Symptoms: Nothing that sticks out to me right now! 

Looking forward to: Blair and Keegan have their gender reveal this coming Saturday...can't wait to find out what baby Neill #2 is!! Also looking forward to seeing family and eating lots of food tomorrow for Thanksgiving!!! 

25 Week Baby Bump

How far along: 25 weeks, 4 days

Size of baby: rutabaga - 13.5in, 1lb8oz

Sleep: Pretty good the last 2 weeks!

Best moment this week the last 2 weeks: A week ago Tuesday we had a dr's appointment and sono! Blakelee ended up coming to the appointment with us so she got to see her sister! She was very unsure of what was going on but was very proud of the picture the tech printed off just for her! The sonographer was able to get all the pics she needed and everything looks great! Westyn was estimated to weigh 1lb6oz which puts her in the 55th percentile...perfect! She definitely looks like her big sister!

This last weekend we took our first trip as a family of 3! Yep, in the last 17 months Brock and I have taken 2 trips alone and several trips with one set of grandparents or the other. We were originally going to take a "babymoon" but decided we needed to soak in as much time as we could with just our Blakelee girl! We went to Colorado Springs for the weekend! B did awesome on the drive, so that made it nice! We went to the North Pole and then went to the Zoo twice! We had a great little getaway...can't imagine what it will be like with 2 babies next time!!

Movement: Yes, all the time!! Surprisingly, most of the time I still feel her pretty low!

Cravings: food in general!

Symptoms: Nothing that sticks out to me right now! 

Looking forward to: Getting the nursery ready! We've primed the room and have fabrics picked out! Excited to see it all come together! Slowly but surely....right?!

Totally got sidetracked and forgot to blog for week 24!

23 Week Bump

How far along: 23 weeks, 3 days (picture taken at 23 weeks 1 day)

Size of baby: grapefruit - 10.5-11.8in, 12.7-20.8oz

Started showing: For sure!

Sleep: Some nights were fine others I just could not get to sleep!

Best moment this week: Brock, Blakelee, and I spent Saturday afternoon at Maxwell's pumpkin patch! It was so fun to watch B play!

Movement: Yes! Definitely more consistent, still feel her pretty low!

Cravings: Sweets

Symptoms: Acne is acting up again, sleep wasn't great 

Looking forward to: We have a Dr appointment this Tuesday and get to see our sweet Westyn again! As always, anticipating a dr's appointment can be exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. Always praying for a good report!!
