24 weeks

Thought since I was so late last week I would try to be closer to "on time" this week :)

How far along: 24 weeks, 1 day
Maternity clothes: I'm embracing my maternity jeans! Even though I'm not quite big enough to keep them up without having to tug on them every once in a while, they are very comfortable! I am still wearing a few pre-pregnancy jeans and my jeggings!
Best moment this week: Brock and I had a wonderful "babymoon" in OKC the past couple days! We had so much fun shopping for ourselves, eating at some amazing restaurants and looking at different things for the nursery! However, my favorite part of the weekend was every time we sat down to eat or when we were lying down in bed we daydreamed about our sweet baby and talked about our future...such sweet times! I can't wait to see what all our future has in store! <3
Movement: Yes!
Food craving: Still not anything specific...I know, I'm boring!
Gender: Girl!
Rings on or off: On
Looking forward to: Working on the nursery and upstairs bathroom...I'm actually more ready for the finished product but working on it will be an experience I'm sure! I'm also looking forward to getting to spend the weekend with my sister in Lubbock, she's getting initiated to Chi Omega, I couldn't be more happy!!

Here's a comparison pic to show everyone just how much I've grown!
And to think I still have a ways to go...I just can't imagine!!

Hope everyone has a blessed week!

23 Weeks

Forgive me, I know this post is late but the picture was actually taken 2 days ago!

How far along: 23 weeks, 3 days
Maternity clothes: Mainly wearing leggings and my jeggings however I did break out my meternity jeans  this week...very comfy!
Best moment this week: All the movement...I love it! Brock wanted me to let everyone know that his best moment this week was watching me do my "Expecting More" workouts! He kept laughing and saying he couldn't believe I have a real baby bump!!
Movement: Yes, a lot!
Food craving: Nothing specific this week
Gender: Girl!
Rings on or off: On!
Looking forward to: Brock and I are heading to OKC this weekend for our "babymoon" getaway! I'm so excited to spend a weekend away with Brock...I'm sure we'll get to do lots of shopping for Miss Blakelee!

22 Weeks

How far along: 22 weeks, 3 days
Maternity clothes: Still just rocking the maternity leggings and bella band! Leggings are great for being pregnant in the winter!
Best moment this week: We had our anatomy sonogram last Tuesday so we got to see this sweet girl again! Dr. said everything measured perfectly and looked great, praise God for a healthy baby! She's measuring in the 53rd percentile weighing 1lb 1oz...pretty amazing!
Movement: Lots of it...it's the best feeling in the world! Brock and I stared at my belly the other night in amazement because we could see little kicks and movement!
Food craving: Still not anything specific... although cereal has sounded really good the last couple days!
Gender: The anatomy scan revealed GIRL too!
Rings on or off: On, but I definitely don't sleep in them after reading horror stories of waking up all of the sudden swollen and having to cut them off!! No, thank you!
Looking forward to: Brock, Mom, Dad, and I spent about half the day Saturday pulling up the carpet, taking down shutters and doors, wiping down shelves and baseboards, filling nail holes, and priming the closet in the nursery! Brock also took down the ugly door on the bathtub upstairs! I'm so excited to see her room all come together, I know it will probably be a long (possibly frustrating) process but I can't wait!!
Oh, and Miss Blakelee will be attending her first concert on Friday, we're going to see George Strait in Lubbock! I think she's pretty excited...I know her mommy and daddy are!!

21 Weeks

How far along: 21 weeks, 2 days
Maternity clothes: I wore a few shirts that I got for Christmas, mainly because I realized I don't have any long sleeve shirts...they're super comfortable! Still haven't busted out my maternity jeans yet though!
Best moment this week: Brock and I spent Saturday looking at baby furniture and gear! It was so fun but also very overwhelming! We did end up buying her nursery furniture and I'm SO excited about it!
Movement: YES! She's moving more and making bigger movements everyday!
Food craving: Nothing specific this week...I know, I'm no fun
Gender: Girl
Looking forward to: We have our big level II anatomy scan ultrasound tomorrow morning! I'm so excited to see this sweet baby again! I pray we get a good report...I may not be getting much sleep tonight between my excitement and nervousness!!

Gender Reveals!

Gender Reveal:
I know I gave you guys a sneak peek at our party but now that the secret is out I can share a few more pictures from the night!
We were so happy to find out we are having a sweet baby girl!!

The cake!!!

The happy grandparents-to be!!

Team PINK - Blakelee Alise!

Austin and Kellie:
The weekend after our party we drove to Dallas for Brock's cousin's wedding. We were excited to tell Austin and Kellie in person (Lauren too, but she had to work right up until the wedding so we had to just tell her on the way - no pics of her reaction :( But she was thinking girl from the start!)

I had them blow up balloons...the blue one had a hole in it and was not supposed to blow up much...but I guess Austin had bigger lungs than me because his blue balloon filled up! Kellie had to point out to him there was a hole in it...IT'S A GIRL...he was shocked!!! I can't wait to see these two be such a wonderful aunt and uncle to sweet Blakelee!

The Smitherman's:
The following day we got to meet up with my aunt, uncle, and cousins to share our big news!

I had them close their eyes and I put a Hershey's bar face down in front of each of them. I had them open their eyes and on the count of 3 turn over the candy bar...I had the "SHE" party of Hershey's colored PINK! They were so excited! Then they unscrambled letters to figure out her name! It was so nice getting to have lunch and spend time with them!

The Nebraska Family:
Sunday we flew up to Nebraska for Christmas, they were so anxious to know if baby "S" was a boy or a girl!

We had them blow up balloons too according to their guess...most of them thought boy, luckily none of the blue balloons decided to be stubborn and blow up too!

We enjoyed sharing our exciting news with all of our family. We feel so blessed to know Blakelee is already loved by so many!
