Weekend Fun!

Watch out...2 blog posts in 2 days!! I had a very busy, very fun Saturday that I thought I would share with everyone!! 

To start my day, I went to a wedding shower for a childhood friend, Shannon! I had not seen her in a while so it was great to see her and how happy she is as she embarks on her new journey. Unfortunately, she is getting married the end of April so I will not be able to make it to the big day but I know she will make a beautiful bride! Wishing you all the best Shan! <3

After leaving Shannon's shower I headed to the Plaza for a baby shower for another sweet friend! Ali's sister, Christine, and I go way back and through all our sleepovers, dance recitals, and time spent at the Nicholas' house Ali became like another sister to me!! She is expecting her first baby exactly a month before me! I'm beyond excited for her and her family! She's brave and isn't finding out the gender until Baby Yndo is here!! It was so great getting to see her and celebrate this sweet blessing!

After Ali's shower I had to go up to work for a couple hours and then got to come home to freshen up and get Brock to head to our friend's, Alicia and Tyler, gender reveal party! Alicia started working with me up at the hospital last May and we were fast friends! Her husband, Tyler, and I have known each other a long time and graduated from high school together. It has been such a blessing to have these two in our lives! Alicia is about 2 months behind me, it has been so much fun to share pregnancy stories...it's so nice to have a good friend going through this experience with me. Ever since we found out Brock and I were having a girl, we've been anxiously waiting to find out if Baby Tucker was a boy or girl! The Tucker's had their gender ultrasound on Monday and waited a whole week to find out at the gender reveal party with everyone (I'm pretty sure Brock would NOT have been ok with waiting that long!!) Here are a few pics from the party!

I LOVE the facial expression they have when they cut the cake...genuine surprise and happiness! I am SO excited for baby Jackson "Jack" Clark Tucker to get here!

28 Weeks

How far along: 28 weeks, 3 days

Maternity clothes: Yes! Hopefully I wont have to get too much more, just buy things that I can wear now and after baby!

Best moment this week: Brock and I got snowed in from work yesterday! Did we use that valuable time to work upstairs on the nursery and bathroom...of course not, that would've made too much sense! We enjoyed a day of lounging, napping, and watching shows!! 

Movement: All the time!!

Food cravings: Sweets are always a winner!

Gender: Girl, still!

Rings on or off: on

Looking forward to: We have a Dr.'s appointment this Friday, I always look forward to those! I'm also excited about having a weekend devoted to working on the nursery...past time to buckle down and get to work! :)

27 Weeks

For all 3 of you that actually read this, I know this is late and you have been sitting on the edge of your seat to read about me still having no cravings...welp, wait no longer...here is my belated update!

How far along: 27 weeks, 4 days

Maternity clothes: Loving my maternity pants and leggings...very comfy!

Best moment this week: I went for a run on Saturday and it was the first run since I've been pregnant that actually felt great...it was so nice to enjoy one of my favorite things to do! We also had so much fun celebrating Austin and Kellie's upcoming wedding! 

Movement: A lot of it! I love LOVE it!

Food craving: Still nothing (gosh, I'm so boring)

Gender: Girl

Rings on or off: On

Looking forward to: We have a Saturday coming up filled with friends' showers and parties, excited to celebrate with old friends and new! Brock and I are also planning to do some work upstairs...I'm so completely overwhelmed with what all we have to get done I just keep putting it off :/

26 Weeks

How far along: 26 weeks, 3 days

Maternity clothes: Yep, a few things and ordered a few fun colored jeans I'm excited to try!

Best moment this week: Feeling and watching all the movement! I LOVE it! 

Movement: YES! She's all over the place! She was all stretched out this morning and I could feel her up near my ribs and down low all at this same time...she loves curling up in a ball on the right side, my belly looks lopsided a lot!

Food craving: nope...will I ever get one?!

Gender: Girl!

Rings on or off: on

Looking forward to: Well, I didn't get anything done on the upstairs this weekend but Brock and I plan to work on it this weekend! We also get to see Austin and Kellie and celebrate their upcoming wedding!!

25 Weeks

Lookin' tired today...I may have taken a nap on the way home from the Dr. right before this pic was taken! :)

How far along: 25 weeks, 3 days

Maternity clothes: Yes, but still wearing lots of pre-pregnancy clothes!

Best moment this week: My best moment this week was getting to be there for my sister's initiation to our sorority, Chi Omega. I love sharing this part of my life with one of my favorite people, I couldn't be more proud to have her be an official member of Chi O! We decided Blakelee has no choice but to be a future baby hootie since she was there for Kristen's initiation and heard all of our secrets! :) Brock and I also got back from our OB check up today. Everything is going great, we go back in 2 weeks!

Movement: YES! I love feeling her and watching her move...I wish I knew what body part was where!

Food craving: No cravings still!

Looking forward to: I'm hoping to get a few things done on her nursery and bathroom this weekend and work on our registries...can't wait for things to start coming together!
