I know I gave you guys a sneak peek at our party but now that the secret is out I can share a few more pictures from the night!

We were so happy to find out we are having a sweet baby girl!!

Austin and Kellie:

The weekend after our party we drove to Dallas for Brock's cousin's wedding. We were excited to tell Austin and Kellie in person (Lauren too, but she had to work right up until the wedding so we had to just tell her on the way - no pics of her reaction :( But she was thinking girl from the start!)

I had them blow up balloons...the blue one had a hole in it and was not supposed to blow up much...but I guess Austin had bigger lungs than me because his blue balloon filled up! Kellie had to point out to him there was a hole in it...IT'S A GIRL...he was shocked!!! I can't wait to see these two be such a wonderful aunt and uncle to sweet Blakelee!

The Smitherman's:

The following day we got to meet up with my aunt, uncle, and cousins to share our big news!

I had them close their eyes and I put a Hershey's bar face down in front of each of them. I had them open their eyes and on the count of 3 turn over the candy bar...I had the "SHE" party of Hershey's colored PINK! They were so excited! Then they unscrambled letters to figure out her name! It was so nice getting to have lunch and spend time with them!

The Nebraska Family:

Sunday we flew up to Nebraska for Christmas, they were so anxious to know if baby "S" was a boy or a girl!

We had them blow up balloons too according to their guess...most of them thought boy, luckily none of the blue balloons decided to be stubborn and blow up too! 

We enjoyed sharing our exciting news with all of our family. We feel so blessed to know Blakelee is already loved by so many!

20 Weeks

HALFWAY THERE!!! 

I can't believe that we hit the halfway mark this weekend, holy cow, we have a lot to get ready!! We have had such an eventful and fun last week; Brock's cousin got married, Cho (Brock's youngest brother) and sweet Lauren are engaged, Christmas in Nebraska, an evening in Hale Center, and an evening in Panhandle...whew! We're worn out but so blessed to have such wonderful family to go visit! More to come on the events of this last week but onto the weekly bump...

How far along: 20 weeks, 1 day

Maternity clothes: Nothing maternity except leggings! I did get a few shirts for Christmas that I'm sure it won't be long until I'll be wearing them!

Best moment this week: Telling the rest of our family that we are having a sweet baby GIRL!! It was so fun to see everyone's reactions and finally getting to say "her, she, etc"!

Movement: YES! She moves more and more each day...I love it!

Food craving: I really wanted Cheetos for our road trip from Nebraska!

Started showing: Yes, she's really grown this last week!

Gender: GIRL, Miss Blakelee Alise!

Looking forward to: Nursery planning!

It's a....

Well, the poll was right....Brock and I are so excited to announce that 

Miss Blakelee Alise will be joining our family in May! 

We couldn't be happier! We're anxious to start planning for the nursery and start registering for all things GIRL!!!

19 Weeks

We're in Dallas for the weekend so no board this week :(

Baby Sherwood is the size of mango

How far along: 19 weeks

Maternity clothes: Nope! I didn't have any leggings to wear this winter so I bought some maternity leggings the other day that are super comfy...but still wearing most of my pre-pregnancy pants!

Best moment this week: We had such a big and exciting week! We had our gender ultrasound and got to see our sweet baby for the first time since I was 8 weeks along...it was incredible! Then we had our gender party and now know if baby Sherwood will be sporting blue or pink! And then Brock felt the baby move 2 different times this week...I cried!! It's just so amazing!

Movement: YES YES YES!! This little one is moving all over the place! It's definitely more than flutters now....Brock has felt  the baby move twice now!

Food craving: Still nothing specific

Started showing: Most definitely...getting bigger everyday!

Gender: We can't wait to share our big news! We have a few last family members that we are surprising tomorrow and then we can make the announcement!!

Looking forward to: Letting everyone know what this little blessing is and starting to plan for the nursery finally!! ....and Christmas!

Gender Reveal Party: Sneak Peek!!

We're not making the "announcement" until this weekend so we can surprise some of our family who were unable to make it to the party BUT I thought I could give you a sneak peek into our fun night!!

18 weeks

Baby "S" is the size of a sweet potato this week!

How far along: 18 weeks, 1 day

Maternity clothes: Still haven't worn anything maternity yet!

Best moment this week: I finally felt some flutters and movement this week...best feeling ever! Brock said he is jealous...I'm ready for the kicks to get stronger so he can feel them too!

Movement: YES! Finally feeling this little one move and I am sure it's the baby! Feeling a little bit every day!

Food craving: Not anything specific

Started showing: I'm going with yes this week!

Gender prediction: I still have no idea! Brock is still convinced we're having a girl! The poll shows the majority of people think we're having a girl...will they be right?!?

Looking forward to: Our gender ultrasound is tomorrow! We haven't seen this little one since 8wks, I can't wait to see how much this baby has grown! Our gender reveal is Tuesday, we are SO excited to find out if this little blessing is a girl or a boy!!

17 Weeks

Baby Sherwood is the size of an onion this week! 

Just thought it would be fun to list a few things this baby is doing!

How far along: 17 weeks, 1 day

Maternity clothes: Ordered a few things but still haven't worn any of them yet!

Best moment this week: I went down to the OB floor after a long day at work and listened to my little sweetie's heartbeat again, always makes my day brighter! AND, Brock and I decided on names...I know...crazy!! We are so excited to share the name with family and friends at our gender reveal!

Movement: I've definitely felt a few flutters here and there but nothing very consistent!

Food cravings: Not really anything specific this week

Started showing: I think so, I had my first stranger ask if I was pregnant this week...and I was wearing baggy scrubs, haha!

Gender prediction: I really have no idea, my "feeling" changes all the time! Brock is still thinking it's a girl! Either way we will be extremely happy!! Can't wait for December 18th...I hope this next week goes by quickly!

Looking forward to: Feeling this little one move more!!!

16 Weeks

How far along: 16 weeks, 2 days

Maternity clothes: Still holding out...my jeggings and boots have been great! I ordered a couple things to wear for some fun events we have coming up over Christmas...we'll see how they work!

Best moment this week: We scheduled our ultrasound to find out the sex!! We're are so excited! Our appointment is on December 17th and we're having a gender reveal on the 18th! I've been having a lot of fun looking at ideas for our party!

Have you told family and friends: YES! Finally, the secret is out!

Movement: I think MAYBE I've felt the baby a couple times...I still am unsure though! I'm so anxious to feel movement I could definitely be dreaming it up!

Food cravings: I've really been wanting soup and salads this week!

Started showing: I think so...it's still bigger in the evenings!

Gender Prediction: Brock has thought girl since day 1! I think it's a girl most of the time, and I've had several dreams it's a girl, but every now and then I have a feeling it may be a boy! Who knows!!

Looking forward to: Feeling the baby move!!
